Oxygen cycle and recombination efficiency

The essential function of the VRLA battery relies on the transport of oxygen from the positive plate through the separator to the negative plate during charging. This transport can only take plaee effeetively if the separator is not fully saturated. A saturation level of 95% or less is preferred.
