Oxygen Containing Triorganotin Halides

The triorganotin halides containing oxygen in the organic moiety as hydroxy, ether and carboxy groups in Tables I36 and 137 are prepared by methods explained in the following scheme. 

R organic group R = organic group carrying an oxygen function X halogen. Symmetric derivatives are listed in Table I36. Unsymmetric compounds may be found in Table 137
