Oxidizing agents volumetric

As ceric sulfate is used extensively as a volumetric oxidizing agent in quantitative analysis. Cerium compounds are used in the manufacture of glass, both as a component and as a decolorizer. 

Cerium(IV) sulfate is used in radiation dosimeters and as an oxidizing agent in volumetric analysis. The tetrahydrate is used in dyeing and printing textiles, and in waterproofing.
