Creating your Own Part and Adding It to Your Database 

To add a part to the database we must create a symbol for the part using Oread capture, unless it is a standard symbol that already exists, and then we must add the part information to the database using Microsoft Access. We will show how to create a new library, add a new symbol to that library, and then add the part information to the Digikey database. 

Here we will show how to create a new library and then add a part to that library. Since Oread Lite only allows us to modify a library with fifteen parts or less, you will need to know how to create new libraries and add parts to those libraries. Run Oread Capture CIS and then select File, New, and then Library from the menus
