Catalytic Membranes and Membrane Reactors. By J. G. Sanchez Marcano and Th- T. Tsotsis Copyright 2002 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH ISBN 3-527-30277-8 [Pg.200]

An interesting two-membrane reactor system concept has been suggested by Tekic et al [5.64] for the following reaction scheme  [Pg.201]

Their membrane reactor system, shown schematically in Fig. 5.19, is equipped with two membranes, which are individually 100% permselective to each reaction product. The reactor consists of a reaction chamber and two different permeate chambers, each corresponding to one of the two membranes. [Pg.202]

A different type of a multiple membrane reactor system was proposed and modeled by Kim and Datta [5.68]. Their membrane reactor consists of liquid-phase catalytic layer supported on a porous matrix, which is sandwiched in between two different membranes. They considered a simple irreversible A- B reaction. The membrane, which is in contact [Pg.202]
