OSHA Egress and Exit Standards

OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.35 defines a means of egress as any continuous and unobstructed way of exit travel from any point in a building or structure to a public way. Egress consists of three separate and distinct parts  [Pg.151]

Exit access—portion that leads to the entrance of an exit [Pg.151]

Exit—portion separated from all other spaces of a building or structure by construction or [Pg.151]

Exit discharge—portion between the termination of an exit and a public way [Pg.151]
