Organometallic Derivatives of Bivalent Germanium, Tin, and Lead

The Bu Sn group is bonded to the chromium atom [r(Sn—Cr) = 2.654 A], and the pyridine is co-ordinated to the tin atom [/ (Sn—N) = 2.29 A]. The Sn—C bonds are relatively long (2.24, 2.25 A). The bond angles at tin show that the arrangement is intermediate between tetrahedral and trigonal-bipyramidal. (MeC5H4)2Sn forms a 1 1 complex with AlCla.  [Pg.421]

Complexation Behaviour of Leadipi) in Aqueous Media. The complexation of lead(n) in mixed halide (Cl, Br) and perchlorate solutions of constant ionic strength has been studied. The equilibria occurring can be described by four lead chloride and five lead bromide mononuclear complexes. Complex [Pg.421]

3- diaminetetra-acetic acid and ethylene-iVAT -diacetic-iViV -dipropionic acid ethylenediamine and threonine in water, water-DMF, and water-DMSO. The hydrolysis of lead(ii) in aqueous solution has been studied electrophoretically and tyndallometrically. The electrode reduction of lead malate, and the effects of the surfactants /-menthol, /-camphor, and thymol on the faradaic reduction of lead(ii) have been studied. The activity coefficients of mixed lead(ii) and zinc nitrates in aqueous solution at 25 °C have been calculated. Mixing an alkaline solution of 2,4,6-tri-nitroresorcinol (HaL) with aqueous Pb(N03)2 or Pb(C104)3 produces a-Pb(OH)aL at pH = 5—9, and Pb7(OH)i(,L2 at pH = 10—12.5, and two metastable solids.  [Pg.422]
