Organometallic Compounds of Palladium and Platinum. The period of this review has been one of rapid advance in the field of oiganopalladiumand organoplatinum structural chemistry. Particular attention has been focused on platinum(0) and platinum(n) complexes of olefins and similar unsaturated molecules for palladium the major emphasis has been on allyl complexes. 

Carbonyls. In Pt (CO)a(PPhaEt)2 the bond angles show significant departures from ideal tetrahedral values the P-Pt-P angle is 97.9(2)° whereas the C-Pt-C angle is 117(1)°. The mean Pt-P distance of 2.360(4) A agrees 

A structure analysis of the platinum-iron cluster compound (61) has confirmed the absence of bridging carbonyl groups. The co-ordination around the platinum atom is accurately planar, and the Pt-P and Pt-C
