Organized nanofilms

Multilayer Halloysite Assembly lor Organized Nanofilms. Forming Low Density Tubule Nanoporous Materials... [Pg.436]

The main objective of the presented paper is the development of smart nanofilms for the protection of metal hydrides against air and moisture, while permitting release of hydrogen gas through these semipermeable nanofilms. It should be noticed that all procedures have to be performed in non-aqueous media. Therefore, the coating materials should be organically soluble and form a stable complex in the solvent. [Pg.487]

Itoh et al. and Wang et al. have created an organic/inorganic hybrid nanofilm from the chemical vapor deposition of M0O3, followed by the ion-exchange-induced intercalation... [Pg.572]

Figure 14.4 Nanofilms for sensing of volatile organic compounds formed from PANI films intercalated with M0O3. (a) Aniline monomer was intercalated within the MoOj film through a cation-exchange process with sodium ions and polymerized with ammonium persulfate. Conductimetric responses to 50 ppm of formaldehyde (b) and acetaldehyde (c) In dry air. It has been convincingly shown that functional nanofilms on the basis of smectites can be prepared. Properties that must be under control are complete swelling of the clay minerals into individual elementary sheets, selective and fast ion exchange of functional molecules, and organization of the molecules at the clay surface. [Pg.1482]

In this chapter, the possibilities of developing new ideas about self-organization processes and about nanostmctures and nanosystems are discussed on the example of metal/carbon nanocomposites. It is proposed to consider the obtaining of metal/carbon nanocomposites in nanoreactors of polymeric matrixes as self-organization process similar to the formation of ordered phases, which can be described with Avrami equation. The application of Avrami equations during the synthesis of nanofilm stmctures containing copper clusters has been tested. The influence of nanostmctures... [Pg.23]
