Organic farming animal disease treatment

Disease prevention in organic farming is based on the principle that an animal that is allowed to exhibit natural behaviour is not subject to stress, and if fed an optimal (organic) diet will have a greater ability to cope with infections and health problems than animals reared in a conventional way (Kijlstra and Eijck, 2006).
