Ofloxacin chemistry

We want to convince you that this chemistry is useful and also that it works in more complicated molecules so we are going to describe in part the preparation of a new antibiotic, ofloxacin. The sequence starts with an aromatic compound having four fluorine atoms. Hematological examinations, blood chemistry, autopsy, organ weight measurement and histopathology were made in order to examine the systemic influence of 0.3%OFLX. No abnormality ascribable to ofloxacin was found.
