Obstacles capillary electrophoresis

Wall interactions have been the greatest obstacle to achieving satisfactory resolution and reproducibility in capillary electtophoresis, particularly in zone electrophoresis and isoelectric focusing. Approaches to minimizing or eliminating adsorption include use of buffer additives and dynamic or covalently-coupled capillary coatings.
