Norepinephrine in neurogenesis

Norepinephrine has been shown to influence proliferation, but it has not been shown to affect survival or differentiation in the DG (Kulkami et al., 2002). Adrenergic receptors are abundant in the CNS however, their significance in neurogenesis has not been well established.
