Application-oriented FTU The units of replication in an application-oriented FTU are also nodes belonging to a common pool of redundant nodes defined for a specific application. When the primary node fails, only nodes that are designated replicas of the application to which the failed node belongs will take over [9]. There are separate controllers for boilers and turbines.
