A -Tetra(w-octyl)-diglycolamide (TODGA) (Fig. 4.3), a neutral tridentate extractant developed for the separation of actinides in spent nuclear fuel reprocessing [13], was reported to exhibit unprecedentedly higher extraction performance for rare-earth metals in [C2mim][Tf2N] [14].
