Nagilactoside

The genus Podocarpus is a rich source of diterpenoids with various biological activities, e.g. antifeedant, antimicrobial and antitumor properties. To date, more than 30 diterpene dilactones, most of them crystalline compounds, have been reported from Podocarpus nagi. e.g. N. A C 9H240 , Mr 348.39 and N. B C19H24O7, Mr 364.39. They occur in glycosidically bound form as the nagilactosides. [Pg.420]
