The committee heard from Dr. James Munch, a pharmacologist who had been giving marihuana to dogs. Asked if the dmg altered the personality of dogs, the pharmacologist answered with an unqualified "yes. So far as I can tell, not being a dog psychologist."... [Pg.122]

Soon after the passage of the Marihuana Tax Act, Commissioner Anslinger appointed James C. Munch, the researcher who had injected marijuana into dog brains, to be the Federal Bureau of Narcotics expert on marijuana. He held that position unril 1962. [Pg.48]
