Morphological Matrix Technique examples

The state of CNT dispersion and distribution within a matrix are morphological properties with great impact on the composite properties. To understand or develop processing routes for CNT polymer composites it is necessary to gain quantitative information about these morphological characteristics. For this purpose some simple techniques based on light microscopy (LM) as well as transmission electron microscopy (TEM) will be introduced. For more details and some specific examples the interested reader is directed to the literature [13,30,31]. [Pg.148]
