In Japan, a zinc-bromine RFB was developed by Meidensha as a part of the Moonlight Project [46], In 1990, a 1 MW/4 MWh zinc-bromine RFB was installed at Kyushu Electric Power Company, and the system has completed over 1,300 cycles with an overall energy efficiency of 66%. Redflow Ltd. (Australia) also successfully demonstrated a zinc/bromine RFB unit up to MW scale with energy efficiency at nearly 74% [47]. [Pg.79]
