Mononuclear complexes, manganese

Mononuclear complexes, manganese, 447 Monoperoxyketals, diaUtyl peroxide synthesis, 357-8... [Pg.1474]

Manganese forms a large number of mononuclear complexes in oxidation states II, III, and IV with acyclic and other common ligands. The complexes primarily are six-coordinate species with octahedral or pseudo-octahedral geometries. Some exceptions to this categorization are the tetraoxo anions in oxidation states V, VI, and VII and the manganocenes. Table 1 contains electrochemical data for representative redox couples in which the Mn coordination environment remains invariant with oxidation state. Many entries are for homoleptic complexes, but some species with mixed... [Pg.401]

Table 3 Structural information of selected mononuclear manganese(III) complexes. Table 3 Structural information of selected mononuclear manganese(III) complexes.
The first mononuclear manganese(III) peroxo species without a porphyrin ligand, [Mn(3,5-Pr 2pzH)(HB(3,5-Pr 2pz)3)(02)] (144),was prepared from the reaction of [ Mn"(HB(3,5-Pr 2pz)3) 2](OH)2 with excess of H2O2 (10-20 equivalents) in the presence of 3,5-Pr 2pzH (2 equivalents) at room temperature. It is a six-coordinate complex with a side-on peroxo group. [Pg.58]

Other high-spin, mononuclear manganese(II) complexes of mixed oxygen nitrogen macrocycles have been reported. ... [Pg.83]
