Modulation of Protein Levels in Cells

The ability to reduce or eliminate a protein of interest from the cell is one of the primary ways in which the activity of that protein can be fully understood and explored. While methods have been developed to manipulate protein levels at both the DNA and RNA level, our interest is in the methods that act at the post-translational level to disrupt protein expression, allowing the study of the resulting phenotype.
