Suspension of solids can be divided into two main tasks  [Pg.263]

Despite that for these phenomena there are numerous models and theoretical approaches, there is no basic agreement to be found. The main difference between the models is based on the prediction of the power input necessary for large vessels, where significant points differ from one approach to another [7,8]. The reason for this is that there are only few data from large vessels and that measurement methods in this case are not so easy to apply. [Pg.263]
