Modeling of Glucose and Insulin Levels

A more detailed model is given by Topp et al. (2000). In addition to the insulin and glucose dynamics it includes an additional balance for the pancreatic y ell mass dynamics. 

Other models, such as neuro-ftizzy models (Dazzi, 2001) and models using artificial intelligence techniques (Liszka-Hackzell, 1999), have also been reported. 

The Automated Insulin Dosage Advisor (AIDA) is combining a rule-based system and a non-linear dynamic model of the glucose-insuhn system (Lehman, 1994). 

In the next section a non-linear model for glucose-insulin dynamics will be discussed.
