Mite control, propargite

Propargite, a sulfite acarlclde, was comiHrcialized by Unlroyal In 1968 under the trade name of Qmite and is useful in the control of many species of mites. Q.2) The structure of propargite and some of Its physical properties are given In Table I. [Pg.163]

A list of Inportant mite species controlled by propargite Is given In Table II. [Pg.163]

Propargite is primarily used to control motile forms of mites. [Pg.2116]

A similar stage sensitivity pattern has been observed in leaf dip tests with the mite Tetranychus urticae at the rate of 200 mg-a.i. larvae and adult females were more susceptible than nymphs while egg hatch was insufficiently controlled [15]. More recently, the sensitivity of different developmental stages of the carmine mite Tetranychus cinnaharinus towards diafenthiuron has been determined and compared with dimethoate and propargite [62]. [Pg.875]
