Microstructural fracture mechanisms function

This paper describes the crack extension behavior in the functionally graded thermal barrier coating, which has been studied by burner heating test. Two series of FGM coatings, having different microstructures, were fabricated by powder metallurgical processes. The effect of microstmcture on crack extension behavior will be discussed on the basis of fracture mechanics. [Pg.143]
