Methylphosphonothioic dichloride

MPK (107-87-9) see methyl propyl ketone. MPTD (676-97-1) see methylphosphonothioic dichloride. [Pg.750]

Cu-powder added to methylphosphonothioic dichloride and phenol, then heated ca. 8 hrs. at 130-135° -> O-phenyl methylphosphonodiloridothionate (Y 84%) dissolved in benzene, added dropwise to a soln. of p-nitrophenol in the same solvent after triethylamine has been added with stirring and cooling, refluxed 5 hrs. -> O-p-nitrophenyl O-phenyl methylphosphonothionate (Y 95%). F. e., also metal salts such as CuCl-ZnClg as catalysts instead of Cu-powder, s. P. E. Newallis, J. P. Chupp, and H. L. Nufer, J. Chem. Eng. Data 75, 455 (1970). [Pg.45]
