4-methoxyphenyl tris disulfid

Bis[4-methoxyphenyl] ditellurium was converted to 4-methoxyphenyl tellurium tris[dithio-carbamates] by reaction with bis[thiocarbamoyl] disulfides in refluxing chloroform1. [Pg.288]

Syn-addition of dialkyl disulfides was catalyzed with the same Rh complex in the presence of 3 mol% of trifluoromethanesulfonic acid (Scheme 3.78) [127]. The reaction was very sensitive to the ligand effect and the best performance was observed with 3 mol% of RhH(PPh3)4 and 12 mol% of tris(p-methoxyphenyl) phosphine. In some cases the Rh complex with dppf ligand also showed good catalytic activity. [Pg.102]
