Metals transmutation

Adiramled. The art of alchemy or the generation of gold a course of practical lessons in metallic transmutation for the use of occult students being a new illumination regarding the secret science of the sages. Lightning Source. ISBN 0766175774... [Pg.3]

The name Adam in Hebrew signifies red earth, but what is this earth actually It is that which the Alchemists sought, and it follows that the Great Work was not the secret of metallic transmutation—a trivial and accessory result—but the Universal Secret of Life. The Universal Secret which was sought by mystic Alchemy was more truly that of the life of life it was the quest of transmutation in God. It was the quest for the middle point of ttansformation, at which point light becomes matter and condenses into an earth containing within itself the principle of motion and of life.. . . ... [Pg.120]

Robert Boyle (another "Father of Modem Chemistry") and Isaac Newton studied alchemy during this time. Newton was fully involved and produced volumes of work. In fact, he considered himself to be more of an alchemist than a physicist or mathematician. His notes indicate that he believed he was very close to success in the alchemical art of metallic transmutation. [Pg.12]

In order to effect metallic transmutations, the Red Stone must undergo some further processing. Once this happens the Stone is no longer used for medicine but is solely dedicated to the purpose of transmutation. This final processing is called Inceration, which means to make something like wax. Inceration augments the Stone s fusibility and ingress into metals that is, its ability to penetrate. [Pg.117]

If we take this Red Stone and repeat the process of multiplication on it, one part will act on one thousand parts of metal, then ten thousand parts, and so on. Remember that before the Stone can be used for metallic transmutations it must go through the process of Inceration, whatever degree it has been multiplied to. Some believe it is quite dangerous to multiply the Stone more than seven times, as it is said to become first luminous then unstable altogether with the possibility of catastrophic consequences. [Pg.118]

Stone which sucks money out of purses as the magnet attracts iron." And in his speech in praise of debtors, he speaks of the "joy of the alchemists when, after long labors, great care and expense, they see the metals transmuted in their furnaces." Transmutation, the goal of the Art of Hermes, is cheerfully parodied in Book IV "Haven t I explained to you enough the transmutation of the elements and the simple symbol between roast and boil, between boil and roast "... [Pg.38]

Finally, the Stone of the third Order tinges physically. Therefore, material projection can be done, such as transmutations of the elements, refinement of the metals, transmutation of substances, healing of physical ailments, rejuvenation and transmutation of the body, up to transfiguration. The Stone of the third Order has the form of a powder (Aphar), with which the projection of the physical Alchemy can be realised. Only fully developed Alchemists and Rosicrucians are in possession of the Lapis of the third Order, which lends magical power even over external Nature. [Pg.122]

If the homunculus of Zosimos is merely a symbol for metallic transmutation, where then do we meet the first genuine homunculus produced by ectoge-nesis The answer seems to be found in the very peculiar tale of Salaman and Absal, which may also date from roughly the time of Zosimos. A version... [Pg.173]

There are too many authentic cases of metallic transmutations to condemn St. Germain as a charlatan for such a feat. The Leopold Hoffman medal, still in the possession of that family, is the most outstanding example of the transmutation of metals ever recorded. Two-thirds of this medal was transformed into gold by the monk Wenzel-Seiler, leaving the balance silver, which was its original state. In the circumstances fraud was impossible as there was but one copy of the medal extant. [Pg.33]

Alchemy is not merely an art or science to teach metallic transmutation, so much as a true and solid science that teaches how to know the centre of all things, which in the divine language is called the Spirit of Life. ... [Pg.31]

Avicena (Abu ali al-Husain ibn Abdallah, Ibn 5/ a)(980-1037) Pers. physician, author of Canon of Medicine, studied therapeutic measures, used methods of Aristotle, suggested speed of light must finite quantity, rejected metallic transmutations... [Pg.453]
