Metalloporphyrins copolymerizations

The soluble metalloporphyrin-containing polymers are formed by the copolymerization of MM A or 4-VP with macrocyclic MCM — an interaction product of acrylic acid chloride with tetra-p-aminophenylporphyrinate acetate manganese [96]. Copolymers obtained by the radical copolymerization of acryloyl derivatives of cobalt phthalocyanine with 9-vinylcarbazole [97] should also be mentioned. 

The second group contains the co-polymers and polymer blends. The example is co-polymerization of pyrrole and nitrotoluene [15] or copolymerization of metalloporphyrine in polypyrrole [16]. The last group includes EP prepared with different doping ions. These can be introduced...

Some metalloporphyrins of aluminum and zinc, prepared according to Scheme 1, are effective for the pol3nnerization of propylene oxide and its copolymerization with carbon dioxide, as shown in Table 3. The polymers formed are characterized by the narrow molecular weight distribution as indicated by the ratio of weight-average and number-average molecular weights (Mw/Mn).
