To predict the processing properties of elastomer compositions when mesitylene dinitrile oxide was introduced, an investigation was made of the changes in viscosity of polyisoprene, SBR, butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymers and BR with different mesitylene dinitrile oxide contents. Properties were compared with those of the initial elastomers plasticised for the same amount of time. The shear stress relaxation rate was determined. 7 refs. [Pg.121]
