Melicope lasioneura

Glycarpine (46) is a simple furoquinolinone alkaloid obtained from Glyaosmis ayanooarpa (M. Barker, S. Kundu and D.P. Chakraborty, Phytochem., 1978, 17, 2145), while melineurine (47) has been isolated from Melicope lasioneura (F. Tillequin et al., J.nat.Prod., 1982, 45, 486). Melineurine has been synthesised (Tillequin, G. Baudonin and M. Koch, ibid., 1983, 46, 132). [Pg.229]
