Mechanical-pyrolitic synthesis

The modification of homopolymers by production of blocks and grafts by using the lower limit of thermal decomposition has been applied by Akutin and coworkers to the modification of polyethylene with rubber (89-92). They called this process mechanical-pyrolitic synthesis .
