Manganese complex tellurium

Telluroacetone coordinated to manganese was obtained from a tellurium-bridged dinuclear manganese complex and dimethyldiazomethane4. 

The tellurium-manganese complex reacts similarly with diazomethane. 

Diethyl(ethylene)tellurourea formed complexes with chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, and manganese carbonyls, in which the tellurium is coordinated to the transition metal1. The solid complexes are moderately stable in air. They do not decompose when stored in the dark at 20° under an inert atmosphere. A toluene solution of the chromium complex at 20° deposited tellurium forming the chromium-carbene complex1. 

Within this context, the present article concentrates on transition metal cluster complexes of cobalt, iron and manganese with mixed chalcogen/carbonyl ligand spheres obtained by reaction of simple binary metal carbonyls with alkali-metal sulfides, alkali-metal thiolates or transition-metal thiolate complexes and their selenium or tellurium counterparts. 

The following metal compounds are used for the preparation of the catalysts oxides, metal carbonyls, halides, alkyl and allyl complexes, as well as molybdenum, tungsten, and rhenium sulfides. Oxides of iridium, osmium, ruthenium, rhodium, niobium, tantalum, lanthanum, tellurium, and tin are effective promoters, although their catalytic activity is considerably lower. Oxides of aluminum, silicon, titanium, manganese, zirconium as well as silicates and phosphates of these elements are utilized as supports. Also, mixtures of oxides are used. The best supports are those of alumina oxide and silica.
