The lone representative of this type is magnolamine (15X5,5) from Magnolia fuscata (Magnoliaceae). Magnolamine differs from the Group 1 alkaloids in that magnolamine has a C(10) diphenyl ether terminus, instead of a C(11) diphenyl ether terminus. [Pg.176]
