M water supply

The treatment plots of the two experimental sites at the Kremikovtzi Steel Works were situated between ajacent industrial biuldings and were with dimentions 30 x 20 and 40 x 10 m. Water supply for each site was ensured through locally-mounted hydrants. The irrigation of the experimental sites is important for normal plant growth and high biomass production and is especially critical in dry summer climates, like the Sofia region.
