Lymph cavitation

Incoeliacdisease,enlargedlymphnodesareffequentiy found at mesenteric root level or, less fi equently, at the mesenteric periphery. The ape of lymphadenopathies is usually oval or elongated (Fig. 2.8). Cavitation of mesenteric lymph nodes is rarely seen (Schmitz et aL 2002).
