List of Exposure Media for PVDF Provided by DIBt

4 List of Exposure Media for PVDF (Provided by DIBt) [Pg.1248]

The list of exposure media 40-1.3 (Table A.37) is a white list of immersion liquids for polyvinylidene fluoride materials (PVDF) with verified minimum properties [7]. [Pg.1248]

Grades of polyvinylidene fluoride molding materials with verified minimum properties are listed in the general approval statements for building materials provided by the DIBt [7], [Pg.1248]

The reduction factors Rjb (see also Sections 1.6.3.1 and 1.6.3) describing the chem-ical/thermal effects of immersion in a specific medium were determined by creep rupture tests under water exposure and are valid only for the listed maximum service temperature [7]. [Pg.1249]

Note that for the exposure media marked in Table A.37 with the comment Permeation , PVDF exhibits permeation tendencies at service temperatures below 60 C [7]. [Pg.1249]
