Lisch nodules

Among the symptoms seen in patients with type I NF are hyperpigmented skin lesions (cafe-au-lait spots), benign skin tumors (neurofibromas), dysplasia of the sphenoid bone, and benign tumors of the iris (hamartomas or Lisch nodules).
