This appendix presents the Langmuir isotherm fit to the methanol/water hinary mixture data from Chapter 4. The isotherm is systematically derived using the first and second laws of thermodynamics for a binary component system. Fitting parameters are then used to predict liquid/vapor surface tension at any methanol mass fraction.
