Research scientists and postdoctoral fellows at Stanford University, California, are trying to develop paper batteries using ordinary paper and ink that will deposit carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and silver nanowires. The scientists feel that when the paper is coated with an ink infused with nanomaterials, the paper becomes highly conductive and could be used to produce microbatteries and supercapacitors that are ultra-cheap, flexible, and light weight. [Pg.40]
