Licensed vocational nurse

Sometimes licensing or certification is granted by the state. The scope of practice for support persoimel requires that they work under the supervision of licensed health professionals except when delivering first aid. Licensed vocational nurses (LVNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), emergency response persoimel (sometimes called emergency medical technicians, or EMTs), and first aid personnel are in this category. [Pg.406]
