Legal issues treatment programs

The Supportive Care Phase focuses on continued opioid therapy, counseling, medical care, and resumption of the patients normal life. This phase continues to address treatment issues including alcohol and drug use, medical and mental health concerns, vocational and educational issues, family issues, and legal issues. Patients in this phase are eligible for take-home medications and less frequent visits to the treatment program or the physician s office.
