LASSO®, alachor

Alachlor is a pre-emergence herbicide. Iden and Schroeter reported five individuals with positive allergic patch-test reactions to alachlor [97]. Three of 21 patients patch tested to alachlor reacted to both alachlor (Lasso) and propachlor (Ramro). Further studies may help clarify whether these were irritant or allergic patch-test reactions. Won et al. [98] documented allergic contact dermatitis from alacholor. Ten controls patch tested to alachor were performed one had a late reaction thought to be active sensitization.
