Large aspiny neurons

In the CPu, D, receptors are mostly localized in medium-sized GABAergic neurons, whereas large aspiny cholinergic interneurons do not express either Di receptor protein or Dj mRNA (Weiner et al., 1991 Huang et al., 1992 Bergson et al.,1995b).
