In addition to fragmentation on electron impact (Section 4.04.1.3.8), most of the references in this section involve photochemical studies and an excellent account of these has been given by Lablache-Combier (B-76PH123). [Pg.218]

The photochemical isomerization of pentaatomic heterocyclic compounds has been the object of several reviews, starting with that of Lablache-Combier in 1971 (71BSF679). After this work, reviews of the whole field (76MI123 77CRV473 ... [Pg.40]

Rossi, 1983), light-induced and solvated-electron-induced reactions (Bun-nett, 1978), electrochemical induction (Saveant, 1980a), synthetic aspects (Beugelmans, 1984 Norris, 1990 Wolfe and Carver, 1978), photochemical induction of the reaction at heteroaromatic carbon centres (Lablache-Combier, 1988). There is no point in repeating here the extensive lists of reactions contained in these review articles. We shall just underline a few points and report recently available findings. [Pg.72]

The photochemistry of heterocyclic compounds was the object of a book published in 1976 and edited by Buchardt (76MI1). Here, the photochemistry of thiophene covers eight pages written by Lablache-Combier (76MI123). Some reviews have appeared since on the photochemical behavior of pyrrole and furan derivatives (89G419 96H(43)1305 96H(43) 1529) but apparently none on thiophene photochemistry. [Pg.128]
