Laballenic acid

Laballenic acid, physical properties, 5 33t Labdane family, 24 573 Labeled compounds... [Pg.506]

A number of closely related linear allenes have also been isolated from seed oils (Scheme 18.8). Examples are laballenic acid (18) [27], lamenallenic acid (19) [28] and phlomic acid (20) [29]. The hydroxy acid 21 was isolated as part of a triglyceride from the Chinese tallow tree Sapium sebiferum [30] and as its methyl ester 22 from the related species Sapium japonicum [31], which is found in Japan. [Pg.1002]

RECYCLING-METALS-NONFERROUS METALS] (Vol 20) Laballenic acid [5204-84-2]... [Pg.548]

Stillingia oil (Section 3.3.34) contains a Cg allenic acid. Ci8 allenic acids have been identified in seed oils of the Labiatae, especially in the subfamily Stachyoideae (Hagemann et al, 1967). Laballenic acid (18 2 5e6e) was first identified in Leonotis nepetaefolia ( - 15%) (Bagby etal, 1965) and lamenal-lenic acid (18 3 5c6 16 ) in Lamium purpureum ( 14%) (Mikolajezak fl/, 1967). [Pg.53]

Several allenic acids are known. One of these, laballenic acid (17), is from the seed oil of a mint, Leonotis nepetaefolia (Fig. 3.13). An unusual allene containing triacylglycerol is... [Pg.49]
