Hormonal Kaolin

StiU another type of separation is based on the free hormone s ability to become attached to an ion-exchange resin ot to sodium silicate (talc), kaolin or charcoal. The antigen-antibody complex does not possess this property. In these methods, the first step is to determine the optimal serum protein concentration of the medium ensuring complete binding of the free hormone and complete lack of binding of the antigen-antibody complex.
