JPEG format

Image libraries in PowerPoint and in JPEG format that contain electronic files for all text art, most photographs, and all numbered tables in the text. These files can be used to print transparencies or to customize your lectures. 

All the figures from the book optimized for projection, available in PowerPoint and JPEG format also available on the IRCD (see below).

Diagrams were scanned at 300-dpi grey scale and saved as JPEG format. Text was scanned and converted by optical character recognition, manually checked, and reformatted in HTML. The colophon (this section) was added. A PDF file was created from the HTML files. 

Save the images in 8-bit grayscale JPEG format (image size 520x696 pixels) in the same directory see Note 21).
