The 1929 contract eliminated the concerns of the earlier contract, but within a year it, too, appeared inadequate. The difficulty was in defining borderline processes and products as either chemical or petroleum. In October 1930, Standard and I.G. Farben, therefore, organized another company, the Joint American Study Company or JASCO Incorporated, to which each assigned its borderline processes for examination on a case by case basis. I.G. Liposome Technology Inc., Erbamont, LyphoMed/Vestar joint ventures, and the Liposome Company, Inc.) are developing a formulation of liposomal doxorubicin. Clinical studies already show promising results as far as the acute toxicity is concerned (less vomiting, nausea, and hair loss) (Gabizon et al., 1989 Treat et al., 1989),... [Pg.293]

The pilot plant studies started in 1966 and have continued ever since. Pilot units have been installed at the Tidd Station of American Electric Power, the Cholla Station of Arizona Public Service, the Big Brown Station of Texas Utilities, and Research-Cottrell s Finderne Research facility. Development studies have been supported by EPA, by joint efforts with utilities, and by this company (4, 5, 6). [Pg.128]

Post-analysis of Japanese-American Shielding Program for Experimental Research (JASPER) was continued. The Flux Monitor Experiment and the Special Materials Experiment were evaluated in detail. Analytical results of JASPER were effectively utilized in the Demonstration FBR shielding design review, which was conducted in the joint study of Japan Atomic Power Company (JAPC). [Pg.154]
