It appears in the sacred accounts of Cyrus the Persian, that this monarch also was the object of prophecy, and that he was foretold by name by Isaiah, above one hundred and fifty years before his time, as one who should be instrumental to the accomplishment of the long predicted purpose of the deliverance of the Jews from Babylon, and of their restoration to rebuild their city and temple. 

But these remarks do not cpme up to the case and subject before us. Grotius, indeed, himself in demonstrating the providence of God from the Jewish prophecies, particularly refers to the rending asunder of the altar of Bethel by Josiah, described by name above three hundred [and fifty] years before the event took place and to Cyrus, whose name and principal actions were pre-signified by Isaiahs. 

A signal instance of this, in a fulfilment of some prophetic declarations of Isaiah with respect to Cyrus, and instrumental to his final success, was displayed in the first great battle that took place at Thymbria, in which Neriglissar was slain, and Croesus put to flight... 

Because the Stone is also the opened third eye, we are taught If therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light (Matthew 6 22). Tibetan sacred art depicts tantric deities as having an open third eye upon the forehead. Again, The Eye of YHVH is upon them who hold Him in awe. And, in Isaiah 53 8, Thy watchman shall lift up the voice with the voice together shall they sing, for they shall see... 

Several interviewees saw the two professional organization as complimentary. One Cohort III interviewee said I think there is a need for both ACS and NOBCChE. I don t think membership in one should exclude the other. I wouldn t say that ACS is that conservative because it has elected a black president... That speaks for itself... There are no racial barriers in ACS. To date. Hill (1975-1977) is the only known African American to serve as a president of ACS. In November 2004, an African American, Isaiah Warner, Vice Chancellor for Strategic Initiatives at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, was a contender for the presidentelect. He was opposed by F. Sherwood Rowland, Bren Research Professor of Chemistry and Earth System Science at the University of California, Irvine and... 

Interviewees identified a number of U.S.-bom African Americans whom they considered the most productive chemists and the strongest candidates for the Nobel prize. Individuals who were most frequently mentioned by interviewees were Percy L. Julian, William Lester, William Jackson, Joseph Francisco and Isaiah Warner. The vast majority of interviewees felt that the late Percy L. Julian was the strongest candidate for a Nobel Prize to date.
